Take it from me...that’s how MOST people feel when they leave Atlantic City. Like they lost their ass. In the 1980’s there were over 150 cocktail waitresses for a dozen casinos...do the math. The nightclubs were incredible! Even better was owning an apartment building (near the casinos) and renting to nothing but cocktail waitresses. However, there was one thing..one thing only, that could top those two items above. My buddy, that owned a few “gentleman’s clubs” in the area, and used to “audition” the “ambitious” cocktail waitresses (as dancers) during the winter months when the “greed-heads” that owned the casinos would cut their hours and/or lay-off dozens of them till May of the following year. The girls LOVED the “dance money” and escort work that sometimes went with it. This guy lived like a KING owning those clubs ! LONG live Delilahs Den !
